Have run a couple tanks of gas through and the pipe is nicely blued/browned almost to the brake pedal. It almost has the classic HD wheezy thump at idle but design of the Savage cam must be such that we will not get 1/2 that classic sound. Am looking at options using the Highway Hawk full diameter head pipe and a super trapp or other muffler. W/o any changes to the carb have a very light soot on the inside of the pipe at the end so jetting is close or a little rich. Noise is greater than a super trapp w/4 discs, but so far haven't turned the local police, sheriff, or state patrol heads as we pass each other. I don't twist the grip hard in town though. Max
